For the Love of Ordinary
It is exhausting striving for perfection, believing everything we see on Instagram or trying to fit ourselves into molds that we were never meant to belong in (I’m looking at you, capitalism).
But it feels good when we are quiet and present enough to just notice and love all the ordinary, beautiful things around us. This ability to stay present is the instant remedy to anxiety and for quieting all that noise.
The little ordinary things in our everyday lives are powerful reminders that we are enough, just the way we are. Where we are. How we are. With all our stuff, and all the things. We are just right.
